Cassada’s spacewalk moved to Dec. 21

Josh Cassada’s spacewalk that was scheduled for today (Dec. 21) has been postponed again because of debris issue. NASA is tracking debris that is on a close approach to the International Space Station. Based on the data, flight control teams directed the crew to stop spacewalk preparations as the ground team went into procedures to perform a Pre-Determined Debris Avoidance Maneuver. The crew is not in any immediate danger according to NASA and with the maneuver, the debris is predicted to pass within a quarter mile from the station. No timeline for the spacewalk has been announced.
