Join faculty, students and practitioners from around the world at Albion’s Challenging Borders Human Rights Conference April 30-May 2. We will challenge borders — literal and symbolic — through presentations, discussions and workshops on refugee and migrant rights, labor rights, environment and climate rights, and identity rights.
Students are invited to submit poster presentations about their rights-related research, advocacy work, artistic creation, community engagement or other forms of experiential learning related to our themes.
Participants will enjoy hands-on advocacy workshops, an environmental justice tour of Albion and learn strategies from environmental rights lawyer and human rights activist Katie Redford.
