Give your thoughts on Experiential Learning at Albion

The Experiential Learning Task Force is seeking your input about experiential learning opportunities at Albion College! We are encouraging ALL students to respond to this survey. The survey consists of 14 questions, and it should take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. All responses will be kept confidential and email collection has been turned off. Please skip any items you do not want to answer simply by leaving them blank.

FREE Chicago Trip!

Join Union Board for a day in Chicago Saturday, April 8! Bring your friends and come hang out in Chicago for a whole day to do what you’d like. We will leave from the Ferguson parking lot at 9 a.m. and return back to campus around 12 a.m. The drop off location in Chicago will be Water Tower Place and we will meet back at the same spot when returning to campus. SIGN UPS WILL OPEN ON ENGAGE at 9:30 p.m., April 4. Food/drink and other expenses will be on YOUR OWN. UB is only providing transportation! Hope to see you in the Windy City!

How to fast safely during Holy Week, Passover, and Ramadan

Holy Week, Passover, and Ramadan, all holidays that include fasting, will overlap in the first week of April. The assistant director for spiritual wellness and campus dietitian will table Wednesday, April 5 in Kellogg from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with information about these holidays, the history of religious fasting, and resources for fasting safely (or finding an alternative practice if fasting cannot be done safely). Campus dietitian Kim Griffin will be available to consult with students and help them meet their nutritional needs when fasting. Assistant director for spiritual wellness Laura Todd will be present to educate about the holidays, provide information about related community events, and help students to determine what form of fasting is right for them.

Active Minds Hosts V-A-R Training today, Eligible Classes Receive Extra Credit

Active Minds is presenting on V-A-R training today at 5 p.m. in Norris 101. This training will give you the tools to show up and be there for your friends, especially if they are having a bad day. Everyone is welcome but if you are in the following classes, you can receive some sort of credit. Clinical hours: EDU 195; extra credit for PSYC 251 & 254, COMM 309 & 311; and homework Opportunity for PSYC 380.
