Braiding Sweetgrass Book Club

Are you interested in nature, plants, science and indigenous knowledge? Are you a fan of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book “Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants”? Do you want to heal our relationship with the earth? Or are you searching for a sense of hope in what feels like a dystopian reality?

Come to the Braiding Sweetgrass book club! You do not need to have read the book to attend, just be willing to discuss the topics mentioned above. There will be three sessions Feb. 8, 15 and 22, at 7 p.m. The first two sessions will be for students only and will meet at the fourth floor KC lounge. The last session is open to students, staff and community members and will be at Sterling Books and Brew.

Copies of the book will be provided to students who ask for one. Please reach out to Ella Hardwick at ech16@albion.edu if you would like a copy or if you have any questions.
