Change your Campus. Change the World. Get Certified in Advocacy!

Are you a member of a campus organization? Are you trying to meaningfully engage the community? Do you imagine a career that includes advocating for political, social, cultural or economic change? Do you want to change your community or campus now? If you answered yes to any of these questions, the Advocacy Innovation Badge is designed for you.

By signing up for the Advocacy Strategies and Tactics Innovation Badge you will learn the core elements of an effective advocacy campaign and practice the strategies and tactics used by successful advocates to make change. You will learn best practices and master the skills you need to advocate for change now.

Want to learn more? Attend an informational session with Carrie Walling from 12:30-1:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 21 in the 3rd floor lounge area of Robinson Hall. Those who sign up will receive a free advocacy journal. Can’t attend? Read more and register online for the Advocacy Badge course.

Innovation Badges are digital microcredentials that allow you to specialize in a skill outside of the classroom. Upon successful completion, Albion College officially certifies that you have successfully acquired that skill. To learn more about all the Innovation Badges being offered this fall, visit the Innovation Badges webpage. Email Chrissy Pfeil (cpfeil@albion.edu) for general questions about Innovation Badges. For questions about the advocacy badge contact Carrie Walling (cwalling@albion.edu).
