Gladys Embry — show of appreciation by faculty, staff and students

Gladys Embry, a longtime employee of Albion College and our various food service contractors, is retiring after nearly 50 years! There will be a celebration in her honor Friday, Dec. 16 from  1:30-3 p.m. in Upper Baldwin. Interim President Joe Calvaruso and First Lady Donna Calvaruso will stop by the cake reception to present Embry with a few gifts for her service to the College, its students, faculty and staff.

For those who want to show their appreciation as well, please stop by 103 Ferguson from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to pick up a flower and thank-you card to personalize a message to Ms. Embry. Simply take it to the reception, where it will be tied into a large bouquet of gratitude. Flowers and cards also will be available at the reception. Help make her retirement sparkle with our purple and gold spirit. It is not every day we get to say thank you to someone who has given nearly a half-century to our wonderful College. Please join us — and take a flower with you!
