Flutist Tess Miller and pianist Nicholas Laban present a recital of music by female composers, almost all from the state of Michigan. The program will include “Balkal Journey” by Catherine McMichael, a work that explores the depths and richness of the world’s deepest lake; a haunting “Lullaby” by Elena Specht; and Marjan Helms’s lyrical and thrilling “Sonata for Flute and Piano.”
This concert will take place on Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. in Goodrich Chapel. It is free and open to the public.
