Holy Week, Passover, and Ramadan, all holidays that include fasting, will overlap in the first week of April. The assistant director for spiritual wellness and campus dietitian will table Wednesday, April 5 in Kellogg from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with information about these holidays, the history of religious fasting, and resources for fasting safely (or finding an alternative practice if fasting cannot be done safely). Campus dietitian Kim Griffin will be available to consult with students and help them meet their nutritional needs when fasting. Assistant director for spiritual wellness Laura Todd will be present to educate about the holidays, provide information about related community events, and help students to determine what form of fasting is right for them.
