Albion’s first astronaut, Josh Cassada, ’95, will make his second spacewalk Saturday, Dec. 3 beginning at 7:25 a.m. EST. You can view the walk at NASA.gov/nasatv. Astronaut Frank Rubio will join Cassada for the scheduled seven-hour walk as they will install a roll-out solar array on the station’s Starboard-4 truss segment. The roll-out array, also known as an International Space Station Roll-out Solar Array (iROSA) was brought to the station aboard a recent resupply shipment. Cassada and Rubio will use Extravehicular Mobility Units (EMUs) to operate a robotic arm to complete the task during the spacewalk.
