Join us for an information session with City Year today (Wednesday, Oct. 11) from noon to 1 p.m. in the Ludington Center (Room 114). Pizza and beverages will be provided.
City Year is an education-focused, nonprofit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service to keep students in school and on track toward graduation. At City Year, teams of trained young people, called AmeriCorps members, serve full-time in schools during the academic year as tutors, mentors and role models. Members earn $6,895 towards an education scholarship and receive a biweekly stipend between $890 – $1,190, based on the state location. Learn more at City Year.
