Auditions for FIREBRINGER the musical!

<span style=”font-weight: 400″>The Theatre Department will hold auditions for FIREBRINGER on Monday night, September 23 in the Herrick Theatre. To sign up for an audition time, download audition songs and scenes, click </span><a href=”https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1h-ypxzk9GdFMRHIW8EdfnrTjekyW0KJ3?usp=sharing”><span style=”font-weight: 400″>HERE</span></a><span style=”font-weight: 400″>. </span>

<span style=”font-weight: 400″>All students are encouraged to audition, regardless of experience.</span>

<span style=”font-weight: 400″>Before your audition: 1) Choose one character to print out and prepare from the “Audition Scenes” folder. Be aware some characters will have more than one scene. 2) Choose one song to print out and prepare from the “Audition Songs” folder. It’s ok if your scenes and song are from different characters. You do NOT need to memorize any material. A reader will be in the audition room to play all other characters in your scene. A piano accompanist will be provided for your song. </span>

Building Bridges with Nathan Bomey

On Thursday, September 19, at 7:00 pm in Bobbitt Auditorium, the Ford Institute invites you to join author Nathan Bomey as he discusses his book, <i>Bridge Builders: Bringing People Together in a Polarized Age</i>.

<div>Nathan is a former reporter for the <i>Detroit Free Press </i>and <i>USA Today</i> and is currently a business reporter for Axios.  <i>Bridge Builders</i>, his latest of three books, focuses on the stories of counterculture leaders working to unite communities and bring about profound social change.</div>

<div>Copies of his book will be raffled off to attendees.  We hope you can join us!</div>
