Join us at Day of Woden 2024! Our annual, campus-wide day full of fun! There will be carnival rides, concessions such as elephant ears, caricatures, bounce houses, and more!

Purple & Gold Shabbat Service Friday at 5:15

Join us for an early Shabbat service Friday, April 19th from 5:15 to 5:45 p.m. in Kellogg 412, led by Rabbi Arnie Sleutelberg ’80. In addition to leading the blessings over the candles, challah, and grape juice, Rabbi Arnie will lead some Kabbalat Shabbat songs and say a few words about the meaning of Shabbat (or Sabbath, the day of rest at the end of the week in Judaism). A few snacks will also be provided. All are welcome!

Day of Woden

Join us on the quad Wednesday, April 24 for a day of fun in the sun celebrating Albion’s annual Day of Woden! The quad will be bustling from 4-8p.m with carnival rides, concession stands, caricature drawings, and so much more. A free picnic dinner will be provided to all students, faculty, and staff! Let’s end this semester strong, and come together as a community before finals begin and the class of 2024 commences.

Check-in stations will be available on the quad, and everyone must have a wristband to participate. This is only for the Albion Campus Community.

The Organization for Latinx Awareness (OLA) Presents Los Hermanos Villegas from Adrian, MI!

 

Los Hermanos Villegas are a Hispanic band who play music from Norteñas, Tejano, and allow karaoke with students!

Join us this Purple and Gold weekend for a night of music and fun!

 

This event is apart of Kaos at the KC and will begin @8pm in the KC Stack.

A Conversation with Author Putsata Reang

We are beyond thrilled to invite you to a conversation with Putsata Reang, whose voice has resonated across continents, from the bustling streets of Cambodia to the serene landscapes of Oregon.

Putsata’s work is a testament to the struggles and victories of the LGBTQ+ community, making her insights invaluable, especially for those of us walking the path of self-discovery and acceptance.

Audition for Theatre Dept.’s JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN on Apr. 22

The Theatre Department will hold auditions for the first show of the 2024-25 season, John Proctor is the Villain, on Monday, April 22. Sign up for an audition slot, read instructions, and download audition scenes on the “Theatre Production” Course Webs page. To access page: login to Course Webs, click the arrow tab in the upper right corner under your profile pic, under “Student Resources” you will see a drama mask icon with “Theatre Production,” click the icon to join.
