The FURSCA team will review the basics of the program and the application process! We will answer any and all questions that you have. We do that by way of our summer program that brings Albion 8th-10th graders to Albion College. Join the Organization of Latinx Awareness this Thursday ,October 3rd at the Writing Center for our weekly meeting. We will have papers in which people of all different backgrounds can write what language means to them. Students can share authors , quotes ,poems or even a statement of what being Latinx means to them. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided! Join Alpha Chi Omega in our annual Walk-A-Mile on Friday, October 18th at 6 pm on the quad. Walk-A-Mile represents walking a mile in the shoes of survivors of domestic violence. This event helps to bring awareness and educates members of the Albion College community about intimate partner violence and resources that are available for them here on campus and locally in our community. We will be partnering with S.A.F.E. Place a local shelter in Battle Creek for those who have suffered from domestic violence. All donations go to S.A.F.E. Place. Additionally, tabling will take place at the KC from 11-2 pm on the 16th, 17th, and 18th of October.
