The Biology Department will be having another plant sale on Friday, Dec. 1! This will take place from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. in the science complex atrium. Late sales are welcome, but will be cash only, plants will be near the administrative office after 12 p.m.

Are you interested in nature, plants, science and indigenous knowledge? Are you a fan of Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book “Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants”? Do you want to heal our relationship with the earth?
Next semester there will be a book club dedicated to discussing these topics through this book. If you are interested in joining, sign up online. CSE will provide copies of the book to students who would like one. This club will have three sessions in January-February, two open to only students and the third open to all.

The Albion College marching band, the “Briton Brigade,” will perform an indoor concert on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m. in Goodrich Chapel. The concert will feature all aspects of the band’s halftime and pregame shows, including flag and twirler routines. Come enjoy this loud, fun afternoon with the band!

The KC Post Office will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 22, Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24, for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Post Office will resume normal Business hours Monday, Nov. 27. There could be a temporary closing on Monday, Nov. 28, in the afternoon to process packages that come in while the Post Office was closed. Thank You.
