Southern Mississippi Chorale performs Oct. 20

On Friday, October 20 at 7:30pm, the University of Southern Mississippi Chorale will be performing as part of the David L. Strickler Endowed Concert Series at Goodrich Chapel on Albion College’s campus. The Southern Chorale has gained national and international prominence through juried performances at choral conferences and festival performances in 10 countries on three continents. Their program for this concert is a rich and varied one, from sacred compositions by composers from Estonia and Latvia to the songs of Marvin Gaye. They will be joined by the Albion College Concert Choir for a closing selection by composer James Mulholland, who is expected to be in the audience. The concert is free and open to the public. Come join us!

“Drawing Together” Oct. 19 at Mudd Library

Join us again or for the first time at “Drawing Together” on Thursday, Oct. 19, starting at 5 p.m. in the Mudd Library Living Room. All are welcome to join the fun — that includes non-artists, aspiring artists, expert artists, and everyone in between! We’ll have MORE art supplies, NEW drawing videos, BOOKS to browse from the Albion College Graphic Medicine Collection, and — of course — SNACKS. This is an opportunity to check out some new comics available at the library and explore a channel of self-expression. Watch for details about future “Drawing Together” events: Nov. 16 and Dec. 7. We hope to see you there!

We need your help to ensure you receive your mail

The Campus Post Office wants to help students, faculty and staff ensure their packages and mail reaches them as quickly as possible. If you are a student, please use the following format when marking:
first and last name
your box number at the Kellogg Center
Albion, MI 49224
If you use your residential hall, annex, apartment building address or a different name, it may cause your mail to be refused and returned to sender. Please be sure to include your full name (First and last name) on all mail.
Faculty should make sure that all packages that are sent to campus include your full name, as well as the department name. These simple steps can help our team deliver your mail to you quickly.
