Join us for the first Drawing Together workshop of the semester on Thursday, September 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Mudd Library Living Room.

We’re launching Albion College Library’s new Graphic Medicine Collection by joining in community, eating snacks, and making marks on paper — no drawing skills or experience are expected; all are welcome! This is an opportunity to check out some new comics available at the library and explore a new channel of self-expression.

Keep an eye out for details on our future Drawing Together events: October 19, November 16, and December 7. We hope to see you there!

Adopt-A-Family for the holidays

The Student Volunteer Bureau is a student-led community service organization that is focused on performing acts of service for the Albion community. This year, we will continue our annual, yearly tradition of hosting Adopt-A-Family. Adopt-A-Family is an event where students, faculty, staff, and groups from campus purchase items for families of the community that are struggling to purchase necessities or desires for their families during the holiday season. By “adopting” a family these groups or individuals say they will purchase items for an Albion family. We are currently looking for students, faculty, staff, and groups on campus to “Adopt”-A-Family for the holidays!

If you have any further questions, please contact our President, Marrissa Price at mmp11@albion.edu or our Vice President, Lindsay Ratcliffe at lr10@albion.edu !
