Censored History workshop Thursday, Feb. 1, 6 – 7:30 p.m. in the Library

What goes better together than pizza and professors? Come for the pepperoni (or gluten-free and vegetarian options) — stay for a workshop to learn more about censorship and its impact on history education, critical thinking, and the common good. History department faculty members will lead small-group activities and conversation around current efforts to censor history curricula in the US, and we’ll explore critical repercussions for our country today and in the future. Serving up pizza, pop, and a warning about the future of democracy, Thursday, Feb. 1, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Albion College Library’s Mudd Learning Center. This event is free and open to the public.
