Support the Library by purchasing a limited edition sweatshirt

Stay cozy for Homecoming with our super-soft, limited edition Albion College Library unisex crewneck sweatshirt, featuring an iconic throwback bookplate graphic.  Part of your purchase is a tax-deductible gift to provide supplemental support to Library programs, services, and collections.  The vintage bookplate that inspired the design for this sweatshirt can be found in books on shelves throughout Stockwell Memorial Library and the Seeley G. Mudd Learning Center.  Sport your new favorite sweatshirt to show support for the Library, a champion of access to knowledge!

On-site purchasing (while supplies last) will be available in the following locations:
Lobby of Stockwell Memorial Library | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29 &  9 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 (Homecoming)
Kellogg Center First Floor | noon – 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29

Sweatshirts are available in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and 3XL for $40 and can purchased by card, US bank account, PayPal or venmo.

Student Accounting AR holds

Notices from Student Accounting have been sent via email to accounts that fall under the following criteria:

  • Balance over $1,250.00
  • Over $1,250 and not enrolled in a payment plan
  • Over $1,250, enrolled in a payment plan but has missed payments. 

Students who have received this email have been notified that their account is on hold preventing them from registering for Spring 2024 classes. They have also received links to view and pay their eBill in TouchNet as well as phone (517-629-0507), email (accounting@albion.edu) and physical location information for Student Accounting so that we may work to find a positive resolution.

Sigma Nu basketball tournament to support Jessie’s Gift

Sigma Nu is putting on a 3v3 Basketball Tournament for everybody on campus to play in!
Cost: $5 Dollars per person (1 extra substitute player available, also $5 dollars)
Prizes will be given to winning team/teams
Location & Time: Dow Field House, 12-5 PM, October 7th
Pay: Venmo (SigmaNu GammaGamma), or pay at the door.  (If using Venmo, put your team name in payment note)

Highest donating team/teams get highest seeding for the tournament!

Walktober is back

This year we will be holding our 5th annual Walktober event.  For anyone who is new to campus this is a month-long walking competition.  You track your steps everyday and log them.  We will have teams of two.  This is open to all employees and students.  Please use this form to sign up.  After signing up you will receive an email with more information.  Prizes will be given to the top 4 teams.  Deadline to sign up will be September 30 at noon. Sponsored by the Office of Integrated Wellness.

3D Innovation Club first meeting is today

Wondering what this club is all about? Interested in upcoming events? Want to meet some new people? Curious about a 3D design tool and VR? We’ll cover all of that during the meeting.

🖌️ We’ll introduce you to a beginner-friendly 3D design tool and VR.

🍕 Plus, we’ll have pizza and drinks on hand, so come with an appetite!

History Club meets weekly

History club is looking for students who have a passion for discussing, learning about, and participating in activities related to historical events and people every Tuesday at 8:30pm in Robinson 403. Our activities include doing jeopardy, murder mysteries, historical debates, analyzing the historical inaccuracies in videos, and presentations among other activities. The club covers a broad range of history from all parts of the world and across different time periods. It is a great way to have fun, expand your knowledge, and get to know new people. Also, the club is planning professionalization events like resume workshops and preparations for graduate school, which will take place this academic year. GLCA Virtual Career Fair is today via Handshake

The fall 2023 Great Lakes Colleges Association Virtual Career Fair will be held virtually  TODAY, Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Handshake. Explore the possibilities with participating organizations by signing up for 30-minute group sessions and one-on-one 10-minute sessions in Handshake. You can register and attend this fair to meet employers and recruiters from multiple industries and locations. You can also explore various career pathways and learn about entry-level jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities with registered employers. When you register for the fair, you agree to select and attend employer sessions.
