October is BIG READ MONTH!! (Updated Information)

Albion’s Big Read creates a context of joy in which young people experience the relevance and community-making power of books. We do that by way of our summer program that brings Albion 8th-10th graders to Albion College. We have multiple free events happening this October, and we hope you will take this opportunity to integrate with the community, show our leaders love and support, and join us!

The Mental Health Fair Will Be Back On Campus

We look forward to having IMALIVE back on campus October 9.  Stop in the KC anytime from 11am-3pm to learn about mental health facts, fun games, snacks, canvas art, check out a few student organizations and prizes!  To list a few they will have JBL speakers, Headphones and much more!

What does your Hispanic heritage mean to you? Come write about it at the Writing Center!!

Join the Organization of Latinx Awareness this Thursday ,October 3rd at the Writing Center for our weekly meeting. We will have papers in which people of all different backgrounds can write what language means to them. Students can share authors , quotes ,poems or even a statement of what being  Latinx means to them. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out and email the president or vice president.

On October 8, from 4:15 to 5:15 pm in Rob 206 Accounting Society will host members of Bond & Company. Bond & Company is a CPA firm located in Jackson, MI. They will be discussing professionalism in workplace and communications. This meeting is open to everyone.

Ghostbusters Trick or Treat! Sweets on Superior

Who you gonna call? Albion Chamber! The Greater Albion Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is excited to announce that Sweets on Superior will be on Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 1 – 3 p.m. This year’s theme is Ghostbusters! Fill out the application to participate to pass out your favorite candy at Sweets on Superior. Decorate your vendor spots to enter into the contest to win either Third, Second, or First! Applications are available in the link below! All organizations are welcome to participate for trick or treating in downtown Albion.
