Start your week with a spiritual practice

Every Monday in September from 11:00 to 1:00, assistant director for spiritual wellness Laura Todd will table to offer spiritual practices in the Kellogg Center lobby. Spiritual practices can help you remember what’s important, re-center in times of stress, and explore the bigger picture.

A different practice will be featured each week. Whether you’re new to spiritual practice, looking to deepen your practice, or just want to chat, you are welcome to stop by!

Free Bohm screenings of “Everything, Everywhere, All at Once” Sept. 19 & 20

Join us at Albion’s Historic Bohm Theatre for a free screening of Everything Everywhere All at Once as part of the 2023 Common Reading Experience.

Screening 1
Tuesday, September 19
6:30 – 9pm with a 7pm start time

Screening 2
Wednesday, September 20
6:30 – 9pm with a 7pm start time

The concession stand will be open for purchases during these free public screenings.

The 2023 Common Reading Experience selection is a curated collection of easily digestible works centered on the theme of belonging, identity and self discovery.  Everything Everywhere All At Once beautifully and chaotically wrestles with themes of immigration, mental health, parent-child dynamics, generational trauma, and the impulse many of us have to question what our lives might look like if we had made different choices. This film is notable for casting a middle-aged Asian American woman in the role of superhero, and is the first Best Picture Oscar winning film depicting the lives of Asian Americans.
