We have a job for you if you like driving, taking trips

Campus Life is looking for student van drivers we can hire to drive for various trips and shuttles sponsored by our office.  You must have a Michigan drivers license, have an available schedule, be interest in driving the large 15 passenger vans, and like taking day trips outside of Albion.  Please email campuslife@albion.edu for more information.

TKE Ping Pong Tournament Oct. 26

TKE will be hosting a Ping Pong Tournament inside the DOW this THURSDAY starting at 5 pm, There will be a $5 entry fee. The last day for tabling will be this Wednesday inside the KC from 2-5 p.m. All proceeds will go towards  ST. Jude Research Hospital to help families pay for any medical treatment or bills they are behind on.

Buddhist meditation, Q&A with local Monk today

Today at 5:00 P.M., Prior Chiezan Tomczyk of the SokukoJi Buddhist Temple Monastery in Battle Creek will lead a guided meditation and answer questions about Buddhism, including basics, what it is like to be a Buddhist monk in his order, and how to apply meditation ‘off the cushion’. The session will be held in the Umbrella House basement. Whether you are new to meditation, a practicing Buddhist, or just curious about Buddhism, all are welcome.

Chat with seminary representative about ministry, LGBTQ inclusion today

Sara Babcock, director of admissions at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary, will visit Albion College today, Monday, October 23rd. She will hang out at Reading Between the Grinds (library) to chat about seminary (graduate education in religion/ministry) and LGBTQIA+ inclusion in Christian spaces from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.  You can also set up a meeting with her for another time.
