Comet Viewing and Telescope Open on Monday (10/21)

Weather permitting, the Palenske Observatory will be open on Monday, Oct. 21, from 7:30 to 9 pm, to view Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS. With an orbital period of 80,000 years, this is literally your once-in-a-lifetime chance to see this comet. We’ll also point out constellations and Venus and look at the Moon and Saturn.
Enter the Science Complex through Norris; the observatory can be accessed by the elevator or stairs on the east end of Palenske Hall.
Hope to see you there!
