“Stories from Waawiyaatanong” Hosted by musician SouFy!

Kick off Native American Heritage Month by celebrating the right way! Ojibwe music artist SouFy will be hosting Stories from Waawiyaatanong; a celebration of Native American culture, powwow traditions, music, art, and so much more! This is an event for all to come and experience culture like never before! The event will be on November 6th from 7pm-9pm in Norris 101. All are welcome!

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5. Do you have a plan to vote? You can register in Michigan even on election day at your local City Clerk’s office (if you are registering in Albion, go to City Hall – 112 W Cass St, Albion). Election Night Watch Party

Albion Dems, Albion Republicans, and The Ford Institute will be hosting an joint Election Night Watch Party on Tuesday the 5th from 7:00-11:00 in the KC Stack. SVB EXEC APPLICATION

As the end of the semester approaches, so does the SVB executive board election process. Every position will be available for applicants this year, each member interested in joining SVB exec must show interest in continuing community service on campus and learning more about how to help the Albion community.

The positions include president, community liaison, campus outreach, treasurer, secretary, public relations, Americorps member, and member at large.

If you are interested in one or more of these positions please fill out this application form before Monday, November 11th. Interested applicants are welcome to sit in on an SVB exec meeting to see how things are run before deciding to apply, if you would like to do this please email ifp10@albion.edu.
