Weekly Mindfulness Meditation on Thursday Evenings

Join Spiritual Life for weekly mindfulness meditation, discussion, and snacks on Thursdays from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Kellogg 405. Our leaders, Teri and Bruce Nelson, are local lay practitioners and authorized meditation instructors in the Kagyu-Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism.
We will have some chairs and meditation cushions, but feel free to bring your own. Whether you are an avid meditator or just curious to learn more, you are welcome!

Dow Schedule

The Dow schedule for August 26- September 8 will be as follows:

August 26- September 1

  • Monday – Thursday: 6:00am -10:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am -6:00pm
  • Saturday- Sunday: CLOSED (Labor Day Weekend)

September 2-8

  • Monday : CLOSED (Labor Day)
  • Tuesday- Thursday: 6:00 am- 10:00pm
  • Friday: 6:00am – 8:00pm
  • Saturday : CLOSED ( Home Football Game vs University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point)
  • Sunday: 8:00am -8:oopm

Student Financial Agreement (SFA) agreement

Please make sure to log into TRANSACT via my.albion.edu to read and accept your Student Financial Agreement (SFA) on or before September 4, 2024.

Failure to accept the SFA may result in a hold being placed on your account.

Please keep in mind that your SFA will need to be accepted at the beginning of each semester you are enrolled.

IM Ultimate Frisbee Information & Sign Up Meeting

Attention anybody interested in playing IM Ultimate Frisbee this fall. 

Teams – will consist of 7 to 10 players on a team with 7 players playing at a time.  A minimum of 5 players will be needed to play.  There must be a gender difference of one (1) (e.g., three males and four females, or three females and four males).

Number of Teams – First 6-8 Teams to sign up

When – Wednesdays and/or Thursday nights (7-9pm)

Where – Varsity Football Field

Length of Season – 5-7 weeks

Start Date – September 4th or September 5th

There will be a Sign up and informational meeting held on Wednesday August 28th at 7:00pm in the Varsity Lounge (2nd floor of the Dow Center).  There will need to be at least one representative from each team present at the meeting. Please have the names of your rosters with you.
