In keeping with the Women’s History Month theme for 2024, “Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion”, the Albion College Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies Department is sponsoring a roundtable discussion this Thursday, March 14, 6:30 – 7:45 p.m. in the Albion College Stockwell-Mudd Library’s Mudd Learning Center. Our panelists, who are advocates for equity, diversity, and inclusion in the Albion community and beyond, are: Mae Ola Dunklin (retired Albion Public Schools educator, community activist and Albion College Board of Trustees member), Ashley Feagin (Art & Art History department professor and chair), Kalli Onai ’19 (Albion College Social Media and Content Strategist), Jess Roberts (English department professor), and Katherine Maher ’19 (Adoption Resource Consultant with Orchards Children’s Services). Lucia Soriano, Ethnic Studies and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Departments, will moderate. Refreshments to follow. This event is free and open to the public.
