Screening of UNDIVIDED US

On Monday, September 9, at 7:00 pm, in Norris 101, please join the Ford Institute for a screening of the documentary UNDIVIDED US.

UNDIVIDED US is a poignant exploration of the toxic polarization gripping America, but it is not a story of despair.  Through the intimate lens of six focus groups across three American cities, this film explores discussions on the most divisive topics of our time and uncovers the potential for healing conversation.  UNDIVIDED US is not just a documentary; it’s a timely and urgent plea to reclaim the nation’s soul through open discourse and civic engagement.

A discussion with one of the film producers will follow the screening.  Ice cream, donuts, and cider will be provided!

Interfaith Ambassadors Team Applications Due September 5th

If you are passionate about promoting belonging and justice and care about making sure people of all faiths feel safe and respected, you may be interested in joining the Interfaith Ambassadors team. Grow leadership, conflict resolution and creative problem-solving skills while learning about religions, spiritualities and cultural practices.

Interfaith Ambassadors work directly with the assistant director for spiritual wellness to show students of all faiths (and lack thereof) that they belong through education, advocacy and targeted problem-solving work. This is experiential learning and a great resume-builder. The group is now taking applications for the Fall 2024 cohort. Time commitment is generally 1 hour per week for meetings, and occasionally 2 or 3 hours for events. Ambassadors may also earn the Interfaith Leadership digital badge. Apply by September 5th.
