Recycling Habits: Student Survey

Students for Business & Organizations 351: International Entrepreneurial Exchange, are conducting a survey based on the recycling habits of students on campus. This information will be used for their product, Waste Wiz. Our business idea, Waste Wiz, involves a smart AI recycling bin designed to make recycling easy and convenient for large events. We aim to tackle the problem of low recycling rates and the significant amount of recyclable waste that currently ends up in landfills. Please feel free to take our survey to help further our market research for our product.

Looking for a meaningful GAP Year program that also pays?

Join us for an Information Session with City Year on Thursday, November 7 from 12:30-1:30 pm in the Career and Internship Center, Ferguson Hall, 3rd floor. Pizza and beverages will be provided.

City Year is an education-focused, nonprofit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service to keep students in school and on track to graduation. At City Year’s 29 urban locations across the U.S., teams of trained young people called AmeriCorps members serve full-time in schools during the academic year as tutors, mentors, and role models. Members earn $7,395 towards an education scholarship and receive a biweekly stipend between $890 – $1,386, based on the state location. Learn more at City Year.

If you are unable to attend the information session but would like to schedule a one-on-one appointment with the City Year representative, Robert Humphrey, please contact Dawn Hernandez at dhernandez@albion.edu or 517-629-0332.
