Be an environmental, climate justice changemaker

On Friday 11/3 at  215-315 pm in Norris 101, Sean McBrearty, the state director of Clean Water Action will be talking about  “Campaigning for Environmental and Climate Justice-  a nuts and bolts session on how to create environmental campaigns that build power.” The event will be followed by informal discussion and refreshments in the Science Atrium.  

The event is part of the colloquium series of the Center for Sustainability and the Environment (CSE) and Earth and Environment Department (E&E), and  is co-sponsored by the Ford Institute.

The event is open to the public.

Kappa Delta’s Shamrock Philanthropy

Kappa Delta is hosting Pancakes for Prevention on November 18th from 11-2:30 in their lodge (located between Baldwin and Mitchell Towers)! They will be doing tabling for the event in the KC from 11-2 pm on November 8th, 9th, and 15th. Please come by and purchase a ticket to support Prevent Child Abuse America! Tickets will cost $5, and will get you 2 pancakes and a beverage choice of either coffee, juice, or water. An additional $5 will get an individual 2 more pancakes and a piece of bacon! At tabling we will also be selling Prevent Child Abuse ribbons for $1. Want to support but can’t come to the event? This is a great way to support!

Sexual Wellness Fair Nov. 16

Please join Albion College Students for Reproductive Justice for our annual Sexual Wellness Fair November 16th, 2023 from 4-8pm in the Science Atrium. There will be mocktails, menstrual cup pong, sperm toss and raffle prizes! Everyone has a connection to reproductive justice and this events provides resources to not only look into physical health, but mental health as well. We are a Michigan based Planned Parenthood genaction group and if you have any questions related to Planned Parenthood or related to reproductive justice in general please reach out!

Annual International Dinner Nov. 8

Enjoy a delicious selection of Ecuadorian, French, German and Peruvian cuisine specially prepared by Chef Zachery at the I-Space’s and the Modern Languages & Cultures Dept. Annual International Dinner on Wednesday, November 8th in Baldwin Hall.

On-board students need only swipe their I.D. card as usual.  A limited supply of FREE TICKETS for off-board students will be available in the Modern Languages department office in Vulgamore 207.

Eat any time in Lower Baldwin from 5:00 – 8:00pm, or pick up your tray downstairs, carry it upstairs, and join us at 6:00pm for a short program by our Native Speaker Teaching Assistants.  Upper Baldwin will be festively decorated for this event.

Metz Culinary Management is extending its $6.47 (includes tax) everyday meal price to faculty and staff.  Price for all others is $11.13.
