The University of Southern Mississippi Chorale will be performing as part of the David L. Strickler Endowed Concert Series at Goodrich Chapel, Friday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. The Southern Chorale has gained national and international prominence through juried performances at choral conferences and festival performances in 10 countries on three continents. Their program for this concert is a rich and varied one, from sacred compositions by composers from Estonia and Latvia to the songs of Marvin Gaye. They will be joined by the Albion College Concert Choir for a closing selection by composer James Mulholland, who is expected to be in the audience. The concert is free and open to the public.
