Build Albion Fellows: Cadence Easterwood, Tyland Martin, Ella Lattimore, Ivan Green, and Breanna Ridley’s community-based project was selected as a finalist in the 2024 Michigan College Alliance’s, Michigan Campus Community Challenge (MC-3). The project, a community needs assessment survey, connects City of Albion residents to current non-profit home repair resources. Focusing on demographic data collection, Fellows from the 49224 zip code area gained an understanding of the pressing needs of their community members. The team presented their project and preliminary findings last Thursday during the “Final Pitch” where they were required to present a one-minute recording and discuss outcomes. We celebrate the efforts of these four fellows whose project speaks to the power of “Liberal Art at Work”.
