Phase two of the Friends of the Albion District Library/AAUW annual book sale is now underway. This week only, during regular library hours, a bag of books is only a dollar. We have thousands of books to choose from, so come downtown to the public library (501 S. Superior St) and browse an interesting and eclectic selection of used books. The sale is located upstairs in the Naomi Lane Room. Library hours are Monday and Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library is closed Friday and Sunday. Bring your friends, your own enormous bag (or use one of our regular-sized bags) and a dollar (sorry, cash only). Used books make great gifts.
