Aldrich Lecture: “Blind Injustice”

On Wednesday, April 10, at 7:00 pm in Bobbitt Auditorium, the Ford Institute invites you to the annual David Aldrich, ’75, Speaker Forum in Law, Justice, and Society.  This year lecture, “Blind Injustice: The Psychology and Politics of Wrongful Convictions,” will be given by Mark Godsey.

Mark A. Godsey is a professor of criminal law and procedure at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.  Additionally, Professor Godsey co-founded and directs the Ohio Innocence Project, recognized as one of the most active and successful Innocence Projects in the country.  To date, his organization has secured the release of 42 individuals on grounds of innocence who together served nearly 800 years in prison for crimes they did not commit.

We hop you can join us for a discussion on how to reform the criminal justice system so it is fair, compassionate, and equitable for everyone.
