Holy Week and Easter Service Transportation

Spiritual Life and Campus Safety are working together to arrange transportation to students for Holy Week services, including Palm Sunday, Maundy/Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and Easter services in town (within Albion city limits). These services are part of the Christian remembrance of events such as Jesus Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, suffering, death, and resurrection. Many, but not all, Christian denominations remember these events in the last week of Lent leading up to Easter Sunday.

Use this form to request transportation to a Holy Week or Easter service.

Please submit the form at least three business days before the requested services to give Campus Safety time to make arrangements. Learn more about Campus Safety transportation services here.

Live Michigan Birds of Prey!

Francis Krawcke, Executive Director of the Michigan Avian Experience (a wildlife refuge in Brooklyn, MI) presents live birds of prey! Join Albion’s Ornithology students (BIOL 248) as we meet four Michigan raptors (red-tailed hawk, eastern screech-owl, bald eagle, American kestrel) and discuss their remarkable behaviors and survival adaptations. We will learn about flight, physical structures, feather types, and wing shapes by observing live birds. Our focus will be understanding how to protect and conserve raptors you can find right in your backyard. This event is free and open to anyone interested! Hosted by Albion Biology Department.

The show runs Monday March 18, from 1 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. in Upper Baldwin Ballroom.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Joanna Sblendorio (jsblendorio@albion.edu).
