We have appointment times for this tax season. Call Renee Harlow at 517-629-0419 to schedule an appointment. Appointment times are Wednesdays at 3:15 and 4:30 p.m. in Robinson Hall, Room 106, Gerstacker Computer Lab.
Student volunteers will prepare and e-file Federal and Michigan tax returns for students, faculty and staff (who make $60,000 or less). They can also prepare Albion tax returns for mailing. This free service is also open to the greater Albion community. The Albion College Accounting Society is sponsoring this program under Professors Leah Parker-Roth, and Dr. O’Brien. Students have completed and passed an IRS testing/training program called Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).
